The Roman Catholic Church - It's Dogmas and Destiny: Part 4

We have gone over the dogmas of the Roman Catholic Church, witnessed its political and religious power throughout the ages and have examined the duality of such power in ancient Babylon as well. We now shall continue examining this duality within the political and religious spheres of power in the developing destiny of the one world order that will serve the coming one world leader, known as the Beast or more commonly, the anti-Christ.

Today there are numerous organizations whose purpose is the establishment of a one world government: there is –

- The Council on Foreign Relations  
- The Trilateral Commission
- The Club of Rome
- The Bilderberger Group
- The World Trade Organization
- The International Monetary Fund
- The United Nations and many, many others

Scripture speaks quite plainly about a one world government in the last days; we saw this already in the book of Daniel, chapters Two and Seven; here is another verse that speaks on this issue:

DANIEL 7: 7-8
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

And from Revelation:

REVELATION 13: 4-8
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

What’s interesting is that in the vision of the Apostle John, it’s the Woman, this False, Global Religious System that seems to be in charge of the Political System of ‘the Beast’ just as we saw at the very beginning with Nimrod and Semiramis where the religion of Babel was the real power, governing the political system.

Do we see this same concept for today’s agenda in establishing a one world government? Yes we do!

H.G. Wells, famous 19th century novelist (War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man and others) also wrote non-fiction books with titles such as The New World Order; The Open Conspiracy: Blueprints for a World Revolution, and others). Wells was a Fabian Socialist whose secret organization was determined to establish a one world government.

In "The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution," Wells writes:

"The political world of the... Open Conspiracy must weaken, efface, incorporate and supersede existing governments... The Open Conspiracy is the natural inheritor of socialist and communist enthusiasms; it may be in control of Moscow before it is in control of New York... The character of the Open Conspiracy will now be plainly displayed... It will be a world religion."

Wells understood that a belief in a one world government would have to be religious in nature, there would have to be a coming one world religion.

All the religions of the world would have to begin to dialogue, to work together, to pray together, and to form a unity that will eventually merge into a single religion of the world, for the world. Do we see any of this happening? Yes, we do! It’s called ECUMENISM – a movement that promotes unity among world religions.

World Day of Prayer for Peace
“Pope John Paul II organized the first World Day of Prayer for Peace in Assisi, Italy, on October 27, 1986. In all there were 160 religious leaders spending the day together with fasting and praying to their God or Gods. They represented 32 Christian religious organizations and 11 other non-Christian world religions, including:

• Christian religions and organizations:
o Roman Catholic Church
o Greek Orthodox Church
o Russian Orthodox Church
o World Council of Churches (An Ecumenical group sponsored largely by the Roman Catholic Church).
o World YWCA & YMCA
o Friends World Committee for Consultation(Quakers)
o Mennonite World Conference
o Baptist World Allianceo Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
o World Alliance of Reformed Churcheso Lutheran World Federation
o Anglican Communion
o … and other denominations and religions such as:

• Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, African and North American animists, Shintoism, Zoroastrianism, Baha’I and some others.

“In 1993, (as in 1986) John Paul II repeated what he was committed to: 12 'Faiths' Represented in Day of Prayer …and invited leaders of the Christian, Muslim, Jewish and other religions.
And on January 24, 2002, he organized another World Day of Prayer for Peace, again in Assisi. Some 200 other religious leaders were present…

“Meeting of the participants of the fourth World Day of Prayer for Peace in Assisi, on Oct 27, 2011 Pope John Paul II's successor and former aide, Pope Benedict XVI will travel to Assisi on Thursday, October 27, 2011 for an ecumenical discussion to commemorate the 1986 meeting, but there will be no single interdenominational prayer service…”

The Spirituality of the UNITED NATIONS?

If you understand anything about the United Nations, then you must also understand its religious/ spiritual perspective and objectives, even in its founding, for a global unity among all religions, and even the formation of a one world religion; based upon the perspectives of Alice Bailey, a leader in the Theosophical Society. Robert Muller, the former Under Secretary for the U.N. was an avid reader of Alice Bailey and had Occult beliefs himself; he also incorporated much of Alice Bailey’s teachings in his own WORLD CORE CURRICULUM which is the basis for our current Public School System here in America!

Bailey was an occultist that channeled by a spirit guide over 25 books, including The Externalization of the Hierarchy in which she describes:

The church of Jesus Christ as being useful in establishing a one world government and religion, but not in its present form. The church would have to be changed from within in order to serve the purpose of the one world order which will serve and worship the coming one (false Christ “Lord Matreiya” known in Scripture as the Beast, the anti-Christ) when he arrives.

She was the founder of what we know as the NEW AGE MOVEMENT, and many of her organizations (such as LUCIS TRUST; formerly known as the LUCIFER PUBLISHING Company!), are sponsored and funded by the U.N. which itself receives considerable funding from U.S. tax dollars; the U.N. is working to establish a world tax where every nation will be forced to pay money to fund its purposes.

Do we see the church of Jesus Christ being changed from what the LORD JESUS intended into something different, even opposing Scripture? Yes, we do!

The EMERGENT CHURCH MOVEMENT –

Again, there isn’t enough time to go into everything that the Emergent Church teaches and represents either, so we will have to highlight some crucial points. What does the Emergent Church Movement believe? 

Not all members and followers of this movement believe the same things, or believe the same things to the same degree. Some followers are only dabbling in Emergent dogma, others are entirely devoted to them.

Breaking it down as simply as possible, they see the Bible as inspired of God but only in a very broad, general sense, and that God’s Word continues to be revealed in the telling of stories today in the same way that stories were shared by the writers of the Bible and in shared spiritual experiences. They question the idea of absolute truth and renounce any that believe they possess the absolute truth as revealed in the Scriptures as being arrogant, biased, and unlearned. Basically they have a low view of the Bible.

Emergent Followers also place a high priority on experiential spirituality that involve mystical practices (we’ll address this soon) and like the idea of placing in their meeting rooms or sanctuaries such things as candles, incense, statues (icons), making the sign of the cross over themselves, low light environment, even stations of the Cross; some place meditation labyrinths just outside of their buildings for people to walk through. They have a desire for a more sensual religious experience rather than teachings from the Word of God.

Some Emergent followers express not just an interest in but a certain devotion to Mary, the ‘Mother of God’. For a video on this, please watch this presentation on youtube MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN (1 hr. 27 mins).

You will see in this documentary how visions of Mary appearing all over the world are persuading people to believe in her and in the coming new world order. This documentary states that more visions of Mary have appeared in the 20th century than the previous three centuries combined!

At the same time, one Emergent Church leader in a radio interview, Brian McLaren, went on record as saying that he would place Jesus on the same high level as Martin Luther King or Gandhi!
So they have a lower view of Jesus, calling Him: Master, Teacher, Leader, even ‘Coach’ but seldom or never as LORD or GOD made flesh.

They talk about “the way of Jesus” but not Jesus as “THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life” by Him alone we come to the Father (JOHN 14:6) and believe he is a good role model that anyone can follow (without being born again; JOHN 3:3,5), even people of other religions and not convert to Christianity.

Also, the reading of very old books written by authors like Thomas A. Kempis, Meister Eckhart, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Thomas Aquinas and other more modern authors like Thomas Merton, Brennan Manning, Henri Nouwen, Richard Foster, Gary Thomas and others. With the exception of the last two names, all the rest are Catholics and they all are practitioners of mysticism.

Incidentally, Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life and The Purpose Driven Church endorses many of these writers and encourages something he calls “breathe prayers” which is related to mystical meditation.

The Emergent Church talks about how we have lost vital spirituality and have become dry and barren, basing our faith solely on the writings of an old Book that doesn’t have the answers for today’s postmodern generation; that we need to get back to “Vintage Christianity” and “Ancient-Future Faith”. What they are referring to are practices and beliefs as found in the Catholic Church!

What these Emergent Church leaders seem to be promoting are the same kinds of things we see in the Roman Catholic Church.
In fact it is the belief of many, such as Roger Oakland (and myself) that the entire Emergent Church Movement is really a secret, covert effort of the Roman Catholic Church to draw Protestants, Evangelicals, Fundamentalists and Independent Churches (what the RCC calls their “separated brethren”) back into the Roman Catholic Church which itself is the Institution prophesied as the Mother of Harlots, and BABYLON and MYSTERY.

The primary means for the RCC to perform this monumental task is the Order of the Jesuits founded by Ignatius of Loyola that not only exists today, but has infiltrated many of our own Christian institutions, denominations and churches. Many Emergents are friendly with and associate freely with Jesuits.

"PEACE, PEACE WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE..."

There is an organization here in the United States called The PEACE ALLIANCE; they are lobbying the Federal Government to become an official, Cabinet level division within our country as The DEPARTMENT of PEACE.

Its leaders: Marianne Willliamson, Neale Donald Walsh, and leading member Barbara Marx Hubbard are all NEW AGERS! With Federal funding and official backing by our government, they will be able to enforce their laws upon every religious body, organization and church.

Basically, no religion will be able to claim exclusive truth that will make them distinct, unique and different from any other religion. No exclusive claims will be allowed regarding any religious book as the only Divinely Inspired Revelation of Truth from God, no religion will be tolerated that states that their religious Founder was superior or supreme to any other religion’s Founder, such as the claim that Jesus is God Incarnate and uniquely the only begotten Son of God!
Any such religious body that makes exclusive claims, under the DEPARTMENT of PEACE will have sanctions placed upon them, perhaps even monetary fines or the removal of the church’s tax exempt status, or worse. This Department will enforce an ECUMENISM that will promote unity among religions! Again, here we see religious and political power merging!

FALSE CHRIST - Part 1 of 3

A MYSTERY UNCOVERED –

There are two central MYSTERIES as found in the Roman Catholic Church:

One is the HOLY EUCHARIST in which the mystical Presence of Christ is supposedly incarnated into the bread and wine offered up during the Mass. How this can actually transpire is a ‘MYSTERY’ that the Roman Church claims cannot be understood (and is entirely unbiblical as we saw last month). Eucharistic Evangelism is being heavily promoted by the RCC and many Protestants, even Evangelicals and Fundamentalists (so-called) are beginning to endorse and even participate in the Eucharist. Healings and miracles during the Mass when the Eucharistic Host is presented and worshipped as Jesus Christ have been reported.

The other Mystery that is not so well known, but is making a come back under the guise of “Vintage Christianity” and “Ancient-Future Faith” is Contemplative Prayer, also known as contemplative spirituality, centering prayer, breathe prayer and the Spiritual Formation Movement. The Catholic writers previously mentioned, and highly recommended by EMERGENT LEADERS were all practitioners of Contemplative Spirituality and Contemplative Prayer.

The LORD Jesus stated in –

MATTHEW 6:7-8a:
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them…

“Vain repetitions” is from the Greek word, battologeo, meaning “to stammer, to stutter, to speak tediously, to repeat idly; it denotes meaningless and mechanically repetitious phrases. A practice of pagan, not Jewish [and certainly not true Christian] prayer.

Contemplative Prayer is neither contemplative nor is it prayer; it’s a practice developed by who are known as the Catholic Desert Fathers, who borrowed from Eastern meditation techniques found in Hinduism and Buddhism and simply dressed it up in ‘Christian’ (Catholic) clothes. A word or phrase is selected like “Glory of God” or “Jesus” and this is repeated over and over again, just like a Hindu meditation mantra (“Oooommm!”) until an altered state of consciousness is achieved, and once this is so, you can expect to receive ‘messages from God’.

Yet to contemplate is to “think with concentrated effort” like in meditating upon God’s Word – you are thinking intently on the meaning of the Scripture, filling – not emptying your mind; and prayer is simply communicating to God; but in contemplative prayer one does not contemplate nor does one communicate anything to God. Imagine someone calling you on the phone and all they did is repeat the word “steam” over and over again. What communication has been achieved by this? Nothing.

In reality, contemplative prayer’s purpose is to alter your state of consciousness in the very same way that Eastern meditation does or various hallucinogenic drugs will do. The alarming fact of the matter is that once you bring yourself to an altered state by any of these means, you are actually opening yourself up to demonic influence and potential demonic possession and seduction.

It’s been thoroughly documented in many books, such as A TIME of DEPARTING by RAY YUNGEN that any professing Christian that has engaged in contemplative prayer has had their spiritual convictions changed from a Biblical view, to a New Age/Ecumenical/Eastern Religion/Pagan-witch-Mother Earth Worship view.

Such was the case with Sue Monk Kidd, a once conservative Baptist [who] found the "secret" in contemplative prayer and has now become a strong proponent of contemplative spirituality and a practitioner of New Age/Wicca (witch) beliefs and written many books on this subject.

Incidentally, Eugene Peterson, creator of The MESSAGE BIBLE, has endorsed her more recent book, WHEN the HEART WAITS. Kidd now believes in panentheism, or that “all is God” – everything from the “rust on the iron gate outside of her house” to the dog doo-doo in her backyard, to the rainbow and clouds and stars in the sky, to the earth itself . . . and all humans including herself, of course.

Did you know that in every major religion there is a mystical meditation practice? Of course Hindus and Buddhists and other Oriental disciplines have practiced meditation for millennia; but in Islam there are the Sufis that also practice meditation very similar to Contemplative prayer (Thomas Merton, Roman Catholic priest and contemplative advocate has had interaction with Sufi’s and admired their spirituality and claimed to be “a Sufi at heart”).
Native American shamans have their vision quests, witches practice meditation and can achieve an altered state of consciousness just as with those that practice Transcendental Meditation, Kundalini Yoga or just Yoga.

Every advocate and practitioner, no matter what their religion, end up adhering to the same basic belief that we are all part of God, that we are in some way God and all of creation is God.

I personally believe that contemplative and meditation practices is what’s going to be the global glue that seduces, deceives and conforms the members of all religions towards a spiritual unity that will incorporate the One World Religion or the MOTHER of HARLOTS.

We are certainly living in days of deception, and as it states in: 

1 TIMOTHY 4:1 

“in the latter times some shall depart from the faith and giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons” – and we see such seduction and doctrines from the teachings of Alice Bailey, Marriane Williamsen, Neale Donald Walsh, Thomas Merton and these others like Richard Foster and Sue Monk Kidd.

I believe that this one world religious and political system will gain momentum and power as we get nearer to the coming of Jesus Christ, and that there will be unity among all the people of this world except for: biblical Christians.

We will stand apart; we must stand apart for the sake of the Truth found ONLY in the HOLY BIBLE, for the sake of remaining faithful to our LORD JESUS CHRIST Who ALONE can bring salvation to lost souls. And if this DEPARTMENT of PEACE comes into being, then we here in America will in all likelihood experience persecution and perhaps even imprisonment!

Yet I also believe that in such an hour as that, the LORD will shower such grace, powerful enough to stand strong and faithful and not deny His Name or His Word! May we keep our eyes open to further developments and if we feel we are not spiritually ready to endure such a time, then to get ready, because I personally believe that such a time is sooner than we think!

Old Testament Examples of SPIRITUAL WARFARE: Conduct in the Campaign & Implementing the Victory of Christ in our Lives – Part 2 of 2

Eyes to See, Ears to Hear, Hearts to Understand and Obey – Part Two of Two 

RECAP on GOD’s RIGHTEOUS PROPHET –

In part one of this article, we saw how the prophet of God was victorious over the overwhelming numbers of pagan prophets introduced to Israel by Jezebel; on Mount Carmel the fire of God came down in answer to the prayer of Elijah, consuming the sacrifices, the dust, the water that drenched everything, and even the rocks that comprised the altar! The people of Israel bowed down declaring that YHWH was indeed God, and at Elijah’s bidding, the false prophets were seized and brought down to the river where the prophet of the LORD then slew them, down to the very last one. He then bid King Ahab to depart for the “sound of the abundance of rain” was heard by the prophet. Soon thereafter “the heavens were black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain” (1 KINGS 18:45).

Ahab reported what had happened to his wife, the Queen Jezebel and she in her indignation and malice declared concerning Elijah:

T.T.U.F. PROFILE: A Look at Alice Bailey and The PLAN Pt. 3

As Christians we realize that the unseen powers of evil of which the Bible has much to say, are those entities that are submitted to, and in accord with the one known as Satan (ISAIAH 14; EZEK 28). Just as certainly as there are angels, there are fallen angels (some say these are synonymous with demons), and as the holy angels bring the message of God’s Word, so too the fallen angels bring messages from their Master. The difference is that the evil angels bring their messages incognito as it were; disguised as something other than what they really are.

They may come in the guise of ‘aliens’ or ‘ghosts’ (perhaps your long deceased Uncle Joe who was the only one who called you by a secret pet name, and lo and behold, there in a séance, he appears, and calls you that very name!). They appeared as ‘gods’ to primitive man, which worshiped them all as the Greek, Roman or Oriental pantheon.

There are also manifestations of these demonic entities in the form of what some have called “the Ascended Masters”; Madame Helena Blavatsky and her prodigy, Alice Bailey referred to these beings as all wise and powerful, benevolent, and desirous to lead mankind into an age of paradise and peace.
Here is where we pick up on the third (and final) segment of T.T.U.F. Profile on Alice Bailey, and examine some of the beliefs that she conceived of, through the channeling of an Ascended Master Djwhal Khul, and promoted in her extensive writings: one specific belief-

otherwise, here are some pertinent excerpts –

". . . we have spoken of a hierarchy of spirit-entities known variously as the "Ascended Masters" or "Great White Brotherhood" or "Brotherhood of Luxor". These beings are alleged by Neo-Gnostics to be overseeing the spiritual and 'evolutionary' development of the human race on both an individual level and in terms of the process of global civilization."

According to the accounts, there is a distinct hierarchy of Masters in operation which –– based on the schemes upheld by H.P. Blavatsky and Alice Bailey.

“It is not at all beyond the bounds of possibility that what is being laid out . . . some way reflects an aspect of the 'spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places' who are the 'rulers of the darkness of this age', as spoken of by the Apostle Paul in EPHESIANS –– which, above all else, gives an overview of the place of the Church in relation to the cosmic powers (EPH 6:12).

"These Masters are alleged to work from a specific spiritual centre of a Hierarchy of Brothers of Light; they are all in physical existence, either in dense physical bodies, such as many of the Masters employ, or in etheric bodies, such as the more exalted helpers and the Lord of the World occupy... for their work in this world –– an 'etheric retreat' centered on the Gobi Desert, entitled 'Shambhala'. It’s called in the ancient books the "White Island". It exists in etheric matter, and when [humanity] has developed etheric vision, its location will be recognized and its reality admitted... They are also associated with a hidden location in Tibet called 'Shigatse'."

A number of lesser Masters are said to have taken over strategically-placed [physical] bodies in order to carry out their tasks in the world; but the greater number are scattered all over the world, dwelling in different places in the various nations, unrecognized and unknown, yet forming each in His own place a focal point for the energy of the Lord of the World'.

The only spiritual entity to be referred to in such a way in the Bible is the devil himself, whom Paul designates 'the god of this world' (2 COR 4:4), and Jesus refers to as the 'ruler of this world' (JOHN 12:31;14:30;16:11). Furthermore, is there not a connection between the fact that these Masters are said to operate from an etheric location above the earth, while Satan and his fallen angelic accomplices are spoken of in Scripture as operating from 'the air' (EPH 2:2) –– an other-dimensional location corresponding to the atmosphere of the earth?

“. . . there can be no doubt that a great many extraordinary global developments are taking place which would appear to give credence to the fact that the aims of the Neo-Gnostics and their satanic Masters are being achieved on the Earth today. Even near the start of this century, the work of the Ascended Masters was described in occult literature as carrying out the following functions in the world:

• Unifying Eastern and Western thought to bring about one universal church.

• Stimulating the growth of the healing arts.

• Building the world influence of occult groups such as the Freemasons, etc.
• Stimulating psychic research, the development of the intuition, and spiritualism. *

• Directing the Labor Movement throughout the world.”

* Such psychic, or ‘paranormal’ investigation and scientific research was quite prevalent in the mid to late 30’s at Duke University and one Dr. Rhine and it continues today at various Universities as well; there will be a supplement of information regarding this kind of research at the end of this article; studies that are transpiring locally here in Tucson, AZ at the University of Arizona.

"Occultic developments involving disincarnates are being tolerated even in establishment circles. As a sure sign of the times, the 'Daily Telegraph' blandly reported that 'a psychic who says that he goes into a trance and is guided by four spirits to write a book is receiving a grant from the Government enterprise allowance scheme'."

In another example of the increasing respectability of spiritist activity, in the acknowledgements section at the front of his book extolling the twentieth century 'rediscovery' of Gnosticism, Dr. John Rossner of the Department of Religion at Concordia University in the U.S.A. makes mention of -

'the presence of patient Unseen Forces and Beneficient Helpers who ––I have come to recognize as the true Architects of that new but in fact very ancient Consciousness of a "Primordial Tradition of Intuition and Insight" which is being born again into this world in our day'

"We are now living on the threshold of one of the greatest deceptions ever to manifest in the world, but through which the vast majority of Christians are sleep-walking. The corruption of doctrine in the Church, the vast liberal apostasy in colleges and congregations, the huge growth in occult practices, the development of the New Gnosticism, the propagation of a New World Order –– all this must be seen against the backcloth of the work attributed by occultists to these 'Masters' in the world. Occult adepts of the higher degrees have known these secrets for decades."

As the occultist Alice Bailey told her pupils:

"Very definitely may the assurance be given here, that prior to the coming of the [World Teacher], adjustments will be made so that at the head of all great organizations will be found either a Master, or an initiate who has taken the third initiation. At the head of certain of the great occult groups, of the Freemasons of the world, and of the various great divisions of the Church, and resident in many of the great nations will be found initiates or masters. This work of the Masters is proceeding now, and all their efforts are being bent towards bringing it to a successful consummation. Everywhere [the Masters] are gathering in those who in any way show a tendency to respond to high vibration, seeking to force their vibration and to fit them so that they may be of use at the time of the coming of the [World Teacher].
"Great is the day of opportunity, for when that time comes, through the stupendous strength of the vibration then brought to bear upon the sons of men, it will be possible for those who now do the necessary work to take a great step forward, and to pass through the portal of initiation"

These references to ‘vibrations’ essentially is no different in meaning than what Alice Bailey called “overshadowing” and “psychic impressions”; these are euphemisms for demonic influence and possession!

“What are Christians to make of all this millennial expectancy and the advent of a World Teacher? Surely, just as the idea of a future Golden Age on earth has been fabricated by Satan in his strategy of the Last Days, as a way of seducing people from the biblical fact of eternal life in the New Heavens and New Earth, so he has dredged up the idea of a coming Teacher who will set up a reign of peace and justice on earth –– all in crass counterfeit of the Second Coming of Christ, who will establish a heavenly kingdom.

"Many Neo-Gnostics even refer to their coming World Teacher as 'The Christ'. Surely, it’s not impossible that this expected World Teacher, who will have great occult powers and political panache, will actually come in the near future.

“The people of the world today are crying out for a strong leader to take them into the twenty-first century. Naturally, such a leader would have to be highly ecumenical if he is to satisfy the requirements of all the sects and religions who are awaiting his coming. But that is not beyond the bounds of possibility, given the present syncretist outlook of the world; when such a world leader does appear . . . [he will] be the Antichrist shown by the Bible to appear and rule on earth for a brief time as Satan's figurehead before the return of the true Jesus Christ (2 THESS 2:3-11).

“In view of the Scriptural data, it is likely that there will be a large degree of deception about this event when it comes to pass (2 THESS 2:9-11), especially when we consider that there are a great many professing Christians who are also expecting Jesus to set up a kingdom of peace and justice on the earth! We should remember the warning of the Lord that false christs can be so beguiling that they have the potential to deceive the elect, if such a thing is possible (MATT 24:24). Remember also how He added emphatically, 'See, I have told you beforehand' (MATT 24:25).

"The 'quantum leap' being generated by the Neo-Gnostics of today, which brings men and women into contact with such beings, represents a huge escalation in the spiritual battle which has been waged by Satan against his Creator from the commencement of world history, and in which we will all be involved.

"It is all part of an inexorable process in which the Church on earth will be wholly engulfed. Many will doubtless fall away, and the faith of many will be tested; but if believers are intelligently informed, the element of surprise will be greatly diminished and their sense of certainty in the overruling hand of God will prevail."

I find it fascinating that there is a repeated reference to both Neo-Gnostics, and the apostate church whose perspective has been altered from a biblical world view to a humanist/New Age-Spirituality world view, concerned not only for spiritual things of the mystical sort, but worldly matters such as the ecology, social wrongs and dilemmas, and esteem political action as well. It would seem that the Neo-Gnostics have done their work well in converting Christendom to their own calling.

Once deprived of her spiritual roots of the Bible and its inerrant Truth, the remaining apostate church will be (and by and large is already) prepared to swallow mystic and occult practices and belief-systems!

One must wonder if Alice Bailey understood the full ramifications of her own work, and where it would lead in these burgeoning enterprises of evil, promulgated by the various organizations she founded, and or helped to promote.

In supplementation, here is something I happened upon during my research; yet another example where mysticism and medicine, or spiritualism and science are being inter-meshed to create a world view that denies the Truth of spiritual reality according to the Bible, and the facts of science according to the empirical method:

Harpers' Encyclopedia of Mystical & Paranormal Experience (p.594) says, "Symbols are important to all esoteric teachings, for they contain secret wisdom accessible only to the initiated."

The Aquarian Conspiracy, a key New Age "handbook", bears a similar symbol. And New Agers freely admit it represents three inter-woven "6"s or "666".

Constance Cumbey, author of The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow and a notable authority on the New Age Movement, says concerning the symbol:
"On the cover of the Aquarian Conspiracy is a mobius, it is really used by them as triple six (666).

The emblem on the cover of the New King James Bible [same symbol as P.O.D.'s] is said to be an ancient symbol of the Trinity. The old symbol had Gnostic origins. It was more Gnostic than Christian. I was rather alarmed when I noticed the emblem..."

The Triqueta is used as the centerpiece for the logo for The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP). The ITP is a new age school following the Jungian Psychology [occultist Carl Jung]. One of their stated goals is ". . . to reach the recognition of divinity within" (see GEN 3:5, "...ye shall be as gods...")

The same symbol (with a circle as does P.O.D. also) is displayed by the rock group Led Zeppelin. Members of Led Zeppelin are deeply involved in satanism and the occult. Guitarist Jimmy Page, so consumed with satanism, actually purchased satanist Aleister Crowley's mansion. Most believe the symbol is from the teachings of Aleister Crowley and represents 666.

Dr. Cathy Burns, probably the world's leading authority on occult symbols, writes in her book, Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated, concerning the "P.O.D. symbol":

"Marilyn Ferguson, a New Ager, used the symbol of the triquetra (another name for the triskele) on her book The Aquarian Conspiracy. This is a variation for the number 666. Other books and material have a similar design printed on them, such as books from David Spangler, the person who lauds Lucifer, and The Witch's Grimoire.

As most people know, the number 666 is the number of the beast (see REV 13:18) and is evil, yet the occultists and New Agers love this number and consider it to be sacred.

As stated earlier, many organizations, such as the World Future Society and the Trilateral Commission, incorporate this symbol into their logo. I think it is quite interesting to see that this same symbol appears on the cover of the New King James Bible as well! [as it also does on P.O.D.s albums, web site, shirts, etc.]"

There are many other occult influences on the cover of The Fundamental Elements of Southtown album. In fact, because of the occult influences covering The Fundamental Elements of Southtown album, many Christian bookstores totally banned the album. But, as they say, "you ain’t seen nothing yet."
Indeed, no doubt!

Thus we see in Universities, book publications, global organizations, training vehicles for educators in both public schools and higher education, economics, etc. the finger prints of Alice Bailey and her work in ‘The Plan’.

And this is already having an effect on the church; perhaps your church and mine as well. If so, it will only become more blatant in the future; and if you doubt this, just start reading some books by the Emergent Church leaders, or even better, Christian exposes on these:

Also, the collective works of Ray Yungen.

Above all however, let us remember to READ OUR BIBLES for this is the Word of God and absolutely able in giving us discernment between that which is Truth, and good, and holy, and that which is not!

Lucis Trust which is run through an international board of trustees whose membership is said to have included: John D. Rockefeller; Norman Cousins; Robert S. McNamara; Thomas Watson, Jr. (IBM, former U.S. Ambassador to Moscow); Henry Clausen - Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, 33rd Degree, Southern District Scottish Rite and Henry Kissinger. This would then tie Bailey's influential occult organization into the international conspiracy of elitists, including the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Bilderbergs, and the Trilateral Commission.

This begins an intermittent series of ‘profiles’ on particular individuals who have had significant influence on the shaping of our world today. The idea for this series sprang up as I recalled a book I read by David Breese, “The Seven Men That Rule the World from the Grave”. It’s an excellent book and I would recommend it to any one who wants to acquire a comprehensive world view on how our world has been shaped, and by whom (such as Darwin, Freud, Marx, etc).

As we observe the emerging, and merging religious dogmas, beliefs and organizations and religions, as well as political, economic, and social forces amalgamating into a global identity we might step back and wonder “How did we ever come to this?”

Knowing the “how” will point us to the various sources of these movements, and knowing what the agenda of these sources is, will lead us to the “why” of it all.

The MOTHER of HARLOTS EMERGES – Part 4b

DO ALL RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD REACH THE SAME GOD?

All roads do not reach the same God, nor lead to heaven!

Since religious truth claims are objective, then the belief all roads lead to heaven is contradictory. Here is why. If all roads lead to heaven then all belief systems are true.

This has three major problems:

1. If all views are true then Christianity is true. The Christian belief Jesus is the only way to heaven and all other religions are false is therefore true. This contradicts the belief all roads lead to heaven. On the other hand if the statement Jesus is the only way is false, then Christianity doesn’t lead to heaven, contradicting all roads lead to heaven.

2. All roads cannot lead to heaven because the core beliefs or the central doctrines of all worldviews contradict each other. Let’s look at a few examples.

• Christianity teaches you cannot get to heaven by doing good. Islam teaches you must do good to get to heaven. These views are contradictory and both cannot be true at the same time. 
• God is personal or God is impersonal. Christianity and Hinduism cannot both be true. 
• Christianity says Jesus bodily rose from the dead. All other religions deny this event. Both cannot be true.

The MOTHER of HARLOTS EMERGES – Part Three

Where we left off previously Roger Oakland was dealing with the subject of the mystical fathers of the Catholic church and the credence given to such authorities, versus the authority of scripture alone.

Roger Oakland documents many cases in which those who were formerly Protestant, had since become Roman Catholic after reading and studying from the church fathers and mystics – Catholics all.

As he himself stated in regards to the so-called wisdom of these men:

“We know that God’s Word is light. When we replace the Word of God with the words of man, which are considered to bring enlightenment, we have a perfect formula for returning to darkness (emphasis mine). The early mystics added ideas to Christianity that cannot be found in the Bible—a recipe for spiritual detriment. Pg. 79

The MOTHER of HARLOTS EMERGES – Part Two

In the previous segment of this article we examined how evangelical Christianity has allied itself with Roman Catholicism through such agreements as Evangelicals and Catholics Together (E.C.T.) and such movements as Promise Keepers; these were used to unite both in social and moral objectives such as commitment to marriage and family, pro-life, anti-pornography, Drug-free America, etc. To share the common bond of Christian religion for the purpose of evangelizing the lost, but not Roman Catholics (though the RCC has objectives to convert evangelicals, as we shall see).

In more recent times there has emerged another movement that is a bit more covert in its operations, but nonetheless is intent on compromising biblical Christians with the same fundamentals as found in Roman Catholicism; a melding if you will of that which was once faithful to the LORD Jesus Christ and His inerrant Word but has now become increasingly apostate with a consenting conglomeration of ecclesial authority for global religion. Of course the Roman Catholic Church will spear head such a world wide endeavor and consider herself its undisputed leader.

The MOTHER of HARLOTS EMERGES - Part One

In this article we will look at a document that was established in March of ’94 called the E.C.T. (Evangelicals and Catholics Together) and associated organizations whose goals are the same. While this is a document over twenty years old, it still has profound implications for the future of our nation, and the world at large.

We will also consider how the Emergent Church Movement is likewise compromising evangelical, Bible-based Christianity to conform to ideas, thoughts and beliefs that are more in line with Roman Catholicism than they are with scripture.

Also, we’ll see how both elements are effectually working together to germinate that which is seen in scripture as The MOTHER of HARLOTS as found in REVELATION 17, will be addressed.

RICK WARREN'S ONE WORLD RELIGION

At the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America which took place at the Washington convention Center Saturday night, the Washington Times reported that Rick Warren spoke to an audience of 8,000 Muslim listeners. His message was…to work together to solve the world’s greatest problems by cooperating in a series of ‘interfaith’ projects.

Warren pleaded with the audience that, “Muslims and Christians can work together for the common good without compromising my convictions or your convictions.” Where is this message in the whole of the scriptures?

NEW WORLD RELIGION

The New Muslim-Catholic Coalition . . .

I received an interesting comment yesterday from one of our readers in response to my article on the “United Nations: The Devils Advocate” post.

He said, “I believe that ultimately, once the North American Union is established here, there will be a State Religion (an amalgam of the Roman Catholic church which will spearhead all the major religions, including Islam, Emergent Churches, and others) and that any word spoken against the State Religion will be considered blasphemous. 

This morning I read an interesting article in the Washington Post entitled, “The New Muslim-Catholic Coalition” written by Anthony Stevens-Arroyo. The article discusses the outcome of the Presidents speech in Cairo. 

He states: “Obama's speech aligned the U.S. treatment of Muslims and the Muslim world with the vision of Pope Benedict XVI. That's not my opinion, but one found in the Vatican's newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano and echoed by Archbishop Wilton Gregory who speaks for the U.S. bishops: 

"Both the pope and president concur that a dialogue of civilizations must supplant the specter of a clash of civilizations ... All Catholic Americans who hope for a more secure world, and peace among the religions, can feel grateful that the president underscored the indispensable role of religion in advancing educational, economic, and scientific goals." 

At the end of the article he states, 

“Whatever the final outcome, an emerging Muslim-Catholic coalition on these matters may ultimately outweigh the vociferous Evangelical-Catholic coalition that dominated in the Bush years.” 

What is it that the Roman Catholic church and the Muslims or Evangelicals have in common? A “One World Religion” that promotes the “Peace and Prosperity” that the Bible talks about would come during the End-Times; the common denominator being the Roman Catholic church. Interesting!
