"We see, in many a land, the proudest dynasties and tyrannies still crushing, with their mountain weight, every free motion of the Consciences and hearts of men. We see, on the other hand, the truest heroism for the right and the greatest devotion to the Truth in hearts that God has touched. We have a work to do, as great as our forefathers and, perhaps, far greater. The enemies of Truth are more numerous and subtle than ever and the needs of the Church are greater than at any preceding time. If we are not debtors to the present, then men were never debtors to their age and their time. Brethren, we are debtors to the hour in which we live. Oh, that we might stamp it with Truth and that God might help us to impress upon its wings some proof that it has not flown by neglected and unheeded." -- C.H. Spurgeon . . . "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31, 32 . . . . .

T.T.U.F. PROFILES – MAURICE STRONG : CHRISTIANITY AND THOSE OUT TO DESTROY IT

T.T.U.F. PROFILES – MAURICE STRONG

This article is just one of the many coming articles that will inform you about some of the most powerful people in the world who have declared war on Christianity.

A society that is openly rejecting God is open prey to the wolves who are about to devour them.
I would like to begin this article with perhaps one of the most important statements made by the apostle Paul, this coming from ROMANS 1:16-17
(16) "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

It is called God's righteousness, because it is God's plan, in distinction from all the plans set up by men. It was originated by him; it differs from all others; and it claims him as its Author, and tends to his glory.
It is called his righteousness, as it is the way by which he receives and treats men as righteous. This same plan was foretold in various places, where the word righteousness is nearly synonymous with salvation.

In ISAIAH 51:5-6
"My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth." From verse 6, "My salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished."

In ISAIAH 56:1, "My salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed."
From DANIEL 9:24, "To make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness."

It is important for us to understand where the real battle lies. It is a spiritual battle, a war that has been raging from the beginning of time. Though we can see the outward casualties of this war, we must understand the who, the what, and the why of it all.

The enemy of our souls has declared war on God. It is he who would rob, kill and destroy us, as well as the nations of the world. It is he who desires to be worshipped and enthroned by the masses. It is Satan, the master manipulator, the king of thievery and lies and every evil and wicked device ever imagined. For he indeed is the one who stood pridefully against, and in competition with the Creator of the Universe. It is he, who demanding his own way above Almighty God, has been cast out of heaven and judgment placed upon his shoulders.

His end is near and time is running out. His plan is to deceive and steal as many as he can away from truth, salvation and God. We are witnesses of this very thing. Today, the nations of the world have turned their backs on the living God. They, like the liar who whispers in their ear, despise God’s way, God’s truth and the life he offers us through the redemption of Jesus Christ.

They have taken of the forbidden fruit and have believed the lie of Satan. They like their father, the devil, have also declared war on God, and on Christianity.

Jesus said in:
JOHN 15:18-20

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

America is quickly becoming one of the many nations turning away from God in lightening speed. The Christian principals that this nation was founded upon are being thrown away, changed or worse, perverted. Yes, America is watching it all slip away, our Constitution, our liberties and our way of life. Our economy is collapsing with the destruction of the free-market and capitalism by the hands of the most socialist/globalist administration ever.

Globalists are at the helm of these radical God haters. They have created the many “movements” that are re-shaping the final destiny of the world.

In this article, I would like to introduce to you a man who is has been deemed the Father of Environmentalism: Maurice Strong.

He is just one of the many who seeks to indoctrinate the world into this new Global society, and lead them down the road of destruction.

WHO IS MAURICE STRONG?

He has an ever growing reputation as the leading and most radical environmentalist in the world, and is the wizard behind the Global Warming Scam. His ideology is deeply submerged in Marxism and population control.

WHO IS MAURICE STRONG?

Leading his New-Age flock to United Religions of the UN
Maurice Strong is an advocate of world governance via the United Nations, and Spiritual Governance via the Temple of Understanding in New York City ( next to UN ) and Environmental-governance via The Earth Charter and the Ark of the Gaia Covenant and the ARK OF HOPE: The Ark of The New Age Covenant.

Strong owns a Buddhist Meditation Ranch of 100,000 acres in Colorado (right over the Ogallala Aquifer); yes, he is a billionaire Water-Baron, and Oil Baron, just an average kind of guy.

A quote from Maurice Strong:
"Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?"
Maurice Strong was born in Canada and has worked for decades with the United Nations. In 1972 he was Secretary General of the United Nations conference on the Human Environment, and thus launched the “GREEN” movement. The head of Earth Council, changing the world from 'cozy-to-nosey'.

Behind UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan stands the powerful Canadian multi-billionaire Maurice Strong. He is the founder of both the World Economic Council and Planetary Citizens; he has served as director of the World Future Society, trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation and Aspen Institute, and a member of the Club of Rome.

As head of the Earth Council, he began to prepare an Earth Charter—a global code of conduct based on global values and radical environmental guidelines.

Strong led the 1992 "Earth Summit" in Rio de Janeiro (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development). It produced the controversial Biodiversity Treaty and
Agenda 21 — the monstrous plan for reorganizing the world along environmental guidelines.
One of his offices is only two blocks away from the White House.

In 1990, a small, round faced Canadian described a scenario to a reporter. He envisioned a small group of world leaders concluding that the rich countries were the “principle risk to the Earth.” This group then created a plan to get the rich countries to “sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment.” When the rich countries refused, the group decided “the only hope for the planet” was for the industrialized civilizations to collapse.

He pondered, “Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”
Two years later, he helped lay the foundation for the Kyoto Protocol at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Who is he? His name is Maurice Strong, and he would love to see America collapse. Billionaire Canadian Maurice Strong is a man of profound influence. He’s been called the “Michelangelo of networking”, “an international traveling salesman with buts of paper in his pocket”, and described as “a cross between Rasputin and Machiavelli.”

He is known as the "Godfather of the International Environmental movement" and the "architect of the Kyoto Protocol."

Both of those are ironic titles for a man who started out in the oil business.
Strong's first exposure to the U.N. came in 1947 when, at 18, he went to New York to take a job as assistant pass officer in the Identification Unit of the Security Section.

He lived with Noah Monod, then treasurer of the U.N. Here, he first met David Rockefeller and learned that the U.N.'s funds were handled by Rockefeller's Chase Bank. He also met the other Rockefeller brothers and other influential people as well.

The idea of global governance emerged during this era. John J. McCloy was a member of the law firm that represented the Rockefeller's business interests. McCloy helped set up the World Bank and became its first president. He also became an assistant to Roosevelt's secretary of war, Henry Stimson. McCloy had been with Truman, Andrei Gromyko and Stalin at Potsdam in 1945, and it was McCloy who first received word that the atomic bomb test at Alamogordo had been successful.
He was appointed to a presidential commission to respond to a Soviet proposal that the United Nations control future development of atomic power. McCloy recommended that the U.S. turn over all information about the atomic bomb, including where to find uranium, to the U.N.

This idea of allowing the U.N. to become a supranational agency was also promoted by the Rockefellers and the Rockefeller-funded Council on Foreign Relations.
Although Strong kept his U.N. job only two months, he met very influential people through Noah Monod who would later prove to be very useful. Strong returned to Winnipeg, failed to qualify for the Royal Canadian Air Force, and took a job as trainee analyst for James Richardson and Sons.

By 1951, he had taken a job with Dome Petroleum, on whose board of directors was Henry Brunei, a close friend of John J. McCloy. Dome became one of the largest oil companies in Canada but its shareholders resided on Wall Street, never very far away from Standard Oil and the Rockefellers.

Strong traveled Africa in the 1950s, creating a network of service stations for Dome Petroleum and recruiting locals to man them. In the 60s, he took Ajax Petroleum, renamed it Canadian Industrial Gas & Oil Co. and turned it from almost busted into an oil giant.

In 1975, Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau started a state-owned gas company. Strong accepted the position as president of Petro-Canada.
While his private sector resume is impressive, it is his public sector experience that is shaping environmental policy today. While he was dabbling in oil, he was also starting his political career.

In 1966, Strong led the Canadian International Development Agency. After four years of that, he went to the United Nations. In 1972, Strong was the secretary-general of the
United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm, Sweden. Later, he was executive director of the United Nations Environmental Program. Fascist Economics (Government and business in partnership) Arch-Socialist Articles pertaining to the Strong-Martin relationship (Prime Minister of Canada, Paul Martin) by Lorne Gunter from the Edmonton Journal:
"The announcement last week that Martin was courting Maurice Strong -- the first president of Petro-Canada and the godfather of the Kyoto accord -- to be senior environment adviser in the Prime Minister's Office is more than concrete enough to eradicate any and all goodwill Martin's comforting words to date may have purchased."

Strong may not have been present at the birth of the National Energy Program in 1980; but as the founding president, chairman and CEO of Petro-Can from 1976-78, he was there at its conception.
"Everything that is wrong can, in Strong's mind, be traced to three sources -- industrialization, wealth and free markets. I'd add a fourth -- Christianity -- except Strong never quite comes out and blames it for the world's ills. He merely hints at it with statements such as: "We are all gods now, gods in charge of our own destiny," which he made in his autobiographical 2000 book "Where on Earth are We Going?"

The Convention on Biological Diversity: Cornerstone of the New World Order (I hope you have a strong stomach!) Micro-scoping Maurice Strong "It is weird that Strong advocates for world depopulation schemes; tells the unwashed masses that both refrigeration and air conditioning are going to wipe out Mother Earth. It’s weird that as a practicing New Ager, Strong dabbles in the occult. Weird is that he didn’t know one of the largest American aquifers was sitting right under the 100,000-acre Baca Ranch in Colorado, he ran as a New Age Mecca with his wife Hanne, and that he came to acquire the property through Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi."

He has had other positions of influence at the United Nations, including “commissioners of the World Commission on Environment and Development, set up as an independent body by the United Nations in 1983″ and senior adviser to Secretary-general Kofi Annan.

Journalist Elaine Dewar interviewed Strong and wrote about him in her book Cloak of Green. She writes, “He could raise his own money from whomever he liked, appoint anyone he wanted, control the agenda.” Also:
“He told me he had more unfettered power than a cabinet minister in Ottawa. He was right: He didn’t have to run for re-election, yet he could profoundly affect lives.” That “unfettered power” led to his role in creating the Kyoto Protocol.
“An agreement reducing their impact on the environment”

In 1990, Maurice Strong gave an interview to WEST magazine, where he described how he envisioned the Earth being saved:

“Each year the World Economic Forum convenes in Davos, Switzerland. Hundreds of CEO’s, prime ministers, finance ministers, and leading academics gather each February to attend meetings and set the economic agendas for the year ahead.
“What if a small group of these world leaders were to conclude that the principle risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment? Will they do it? Will the rich countries agree to reduce their impact on the environment? Will they agree to save the earth?
“The group’s conclusions is ‘no.’ the rich countries won’t do it. They won’t change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”
Two years after making that statement, Strong laid the foundation, and helped in the creation of the Kyoto Protocol.
According to Wikipedia, “The Kyoto Protocol is a protocol to the international Framework Convention on Climate Change with the objective of reducing greenhouse gases that cause climate change.”

Another way of saying that is “an agreement reducing their impact on the environment.” What has been the result of the agreement?
The rich countries won't do it, they won't change. Japan, Italy and Spain face payments of as much as $33 billion combined for failing to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions as promised under the Kyoto treaty. Spain faces a $7.8 billion cost, and Italy and Japan each may owe about $13 billion, based on estimates by their governments and the current price for permits. It seems the rich countries are up to their necks in fines, while the developing countries don’t have to worry about caps on emissions. Sound familiar?

If the United States were to sign the treaty, it is expected to have
disasterous results: …according to the U.S. Energy Information Agency, [ratifying Kyoto] could cost the economy $400 billion per year, raise electric utility rates by 86 per cent, hike the cost of heating oil by 76 per cent, and impose a permanent “Kyoto gasoline tax” of 66 cents per gallon. In total, each U.S. household would have to spend an extra $1,740 per year on energy.

WEFA, an economic information and consulting firm, reports that 2.4 million jobs would be lost and manufacturing wages cut by 2.1 per cent.
Kyoto is actually destroying Europe's economy. Strong, however, is not concerned with the success of the world’s economy. In fact, it seems that is part of the plan. When an economy grows, greenhouse gases tend to grow with it. Strong knows this and says:

“Economic growth is not the cure, it is the disease”...u
nless we are talking about Strong’s economic growth…he himself used environmentalism to make a lot of money.

In the 1990s, Al Gore heaped praise on a company called Molten Metal Technology, Inc. This company, a hazardous waste management firm, claimed to have a new technology, “a promising adaptation of steelmaking chemistry to create a closed-loop system for turning industrial wastes into chemical feedstock.”

Gore’s hype helped the company’s stock jump to $35 a share. After receiving over $25 million dollars in federal grant money from the Department of Energy, the D.O.E. figured out that the technology was a bust. It simply didn’t work.
Maurice Strong ran Molten Metals, and when the federal government decided to stop handing out grants, he and the other corporate officers sold off $15.3 million in personal shares of stock.

The stock dropped to $5 soon afterward, but Strong had already made his money.
Today, Strong is on the Chicago Climate Exchange Board of Directors. The CCX (Chicago Climate Exchange) “is North America’s only and the world’s first global marketplace for integrating voluntary legally binding emissions reductions with emissions trading and offsets for all six greenhouse gases.”

The more global warming gets hyped, once again by Al Gore, the more green technology is worth. So while Strong may be “a socialist in ideology,” he is definitely a “capitalist in methodology.”

The architect of Kyoto has made millions off of environmentalism, but still finds himself unable to pull America into the snare. But he has a plan for that also: In 2006, he described what he thought was necessary to keep the green movement alive…
FEAR!
Speaking of the environmental movement post-2012, the year Kyoto expires; Strong laid out a vision for what he thinks it will take to keep the green movement alive in the hearts of world governments.

"What we really need are massive incentives for the right kind of behavior", Strong explained at one seminar to an audience of roughly 400. Economic incentives, but also moral incentives, ethical incentives, psychological incentives . . . FEAR!

Political leaders cannot go far beyond what their constituents are prepared to accept, nor can those who are negative be more negative than what their constituents are willing to support, notes Strong, acknowledging that democratic solutions have their limits.

So, politics really responds to public movements. If you look at the great movements in history, the abolishment of the slave trade and all that, they didn’t start with individual policies from governments. They were forced on them by people’s movements. And that’s the same with the environmental movement.

Later, he adds: And remember: the communist revolution was a people’s revolution.
Maurice Strong would not shed a tear at the collapse of the American economy or our way of life. He has stated before that “current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable. A shift is necessary toward lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.”

In other words, the demise of the American way of life is necessary for the survival of the Earth. This perspective poses little threat from a normal environmentalist. In the hands of the “Michelangelo of networking...an international traveling salesman with buts [sic] of paper in his pocket” and “a cross between Rasputin and Machiavelli,” it is an all too real threat to America.

UPDATE: MAY 18, 2010 - The Dangerous Worldview of Maurice Strong and Sustainable Development Reported by Brannon House:

This is serious, folks! President Obama's science czar buys into sustainable development. Sustainable development includes provision for a world authority that controls all resources and every aspect of how humans live-whether they are allowed to be born, how and when they die, and the way they are educated.

Holdren calls for a "Planetary Regime" to bring this about: Such a comprehensive Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable…not only in the atmosphere and oceans, but in such freshwater bodies as rivers and lakes…The Regime might also be a logical central agency for regulating all international trade…The Planetary Regime might be given responsibility for determining the optimum population for the world and for each region and for arbitrating various countries' shares within their regional limits…the Regime would have some power to enforce the agreed limits.[12] Holdren also encourages "…a more powerful United Nations"[13] and like the rest of the globalists, he blames Biblical Christianity for the world's problems:

The Christian concept of life in this world, as voiced by Saint Paul, that "here we have no abiding city," for example, conceivably could help explain why some people show rather little concern for the long-term future of the global environment or for the well-being of future generations.[14]

"Sustainable development" masks all manner of tyranny, oppression, murder, socialism, and global governance. It has become the umbrella under which all the ideas and values of the 21 influencers in this book have converged.

And it is what has brought us to the point of no return in our national relationship with the Lord of all nations (Psalm 2). READ FULL ARTICLE HERE: Worldview Weekend - by Brannon Howse
