"We see, in many a land, the proudest dynasties and tyrannies still crushing, with their mountain weight, every free motion of the Consciences and hearts of men. We see, on the other hand, the truest heroism for the right and the greatest devotion to the Truth in hearts that God has touched. We have a work to do, as great as our forefathers and, perhaps, far greater. The enemies of Truth are more numerous and subtle than ever and the needs of the Church are greater than at any preceding time. If we are not debtors to the present, then men were never debtors to their age and their time. Brethren, we are debtors to the hour in which we live. Oh, that we might stamp it with Truth and that God might help us to impress upon its wings some proof that it has not flown by neglected and unheeded." -- C.H. Spurgeon . . . "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31, 32 . . . . . New Apostolic Reformation

"The New Apostolic Reformation, or NAR, is an unbiblical religious movement that emphasizes experience over Scripture, mysticism over doctrine, and modern-day “apostles” over the plain text of the Bible. Of particular distinction in the New Apostolic Reformation are the role and power of spiritual leaders and miracle-workers, the reception of “new” revelations from God, an over-emphasis on spiritual warfare, and a pursuit of cultural and political control in society. The seeking of signs and wonders in the NAR is always accompanied by blatantly false doctrine."  - by gotquestions

"It is a serious thing to claim to speak for God. So serious, in fact, that a prophet who claimed to speak for God and whose words did not come to pass was to be put to death according to the Old Testament. God takes both His Name and His word so seriously that He gave some of the harshest rebukes in all the Old Testament to those who were claiming to bring revelation from Him that He had not sent. One final note. There is always the temptation when dealing with a subject of this nature, to pull out the most outlandish quotes in an attempt to make one's point more forcefully. Though it is certain that some will feel that this is exactly what has been done, I have attempted to resist this temptation. While an extreme example has occasionally been used in order to demonstrate how heretical the movement is at its fringes, for the most part, I have attempted to use quotes from those considered more 'mainstream' within the apostolic and prophetic movement. It is my desire to demonstrate that the issues addressed in this book are rampant within the community and not isolated in one or two marginal teachers. It is my sincere prayer that this book will be used in some small measure to awaken the church to the seriousness of the errors being propagated within the apostolic/prophetic movement and to call the church back to the truth." - Keith Gibson

What Is The New Apostolic Reformation Movement (NAR)?

Shaking My Head Productions: The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) seems to quite clearly justify labeling it a movement or denomination. Millions of people around the world are part of its network of churches. However, many NAR leaders and advocates deny that it’s a denomination or movement. Many Christians who are attracted by NAR teachings and practices have no idea that something called the NAR even exists. For those aware of its influence and presence within Christianity, the NAR has branded itself as representing the return of authoritative apostles and prophets to the modern church, complete with miracles such as healing and raising the dead.
