KNOWING THE SIGNS OF HIS COMING

It is vitally important to know and to understand the times in which we live, and what the Scriptures have to say about it. 

I would encourage you, all of us, to take the time to search the Scriptures...daily...to see what God has said in His Prophetic Word, and to pray for understanding, that we might know the truth, and are well equipped and ready for what is yet to come.

In Matthew 24:37-39, Jesus told his disciples, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."


Then in verse 42, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come" and in verse 44, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

When it comes to the Lord's return, none of us knows the day or the hour.  So what do we know?

There is a wonderful little booklet entitled, “101 Last Days Prophecies” written by the late Jim Tetlow, of Eternal Productions, a dear friend and brother in Christ. 

The Bible foretells many signs that would culminate in the last days. Jesus indicated these signs would arise together as His return drew near (Matthew 24). Though many of these prophecies won’t climax until the tribulation period, our generation is the first to see every trend in place. As the final seconds of this age tick away, these events will come into even clearer focus. Keep in mind as you read through this list that these prophecies were penned 1900 to 3500 years ago! How does this relate to you? The last several pages provide the answer – you need to read them carefully.

The dark season in which we live, the cultural shift from biblical Christianity to paganism, the many strange events that are taking place in our world, are happening at an alarming rate. This world is taking on a new form in a 'New Age' era that many professed believers are getting caught up in, and many are being led astray.

Whenever I see this happening, I have to wonder how this could happen to someone who has at one time embraced biblical truth, then turned away to embrace a lie.

The Bible indicates that there will be a great apostasy during the end times. The “great apostasy” is mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. The KJV calls it the “falling away,” while the NIV and ESV call it “the rebellion.” And that’s what an apostasy is: a rebellion, an abandonment of the truth. The end times will include a wholesale rejection of God’s revelation, a further “falling away” of an already fallen world.

Jesus warned the disciples concerning the final days in Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times.

While true Believers are excited about the SIGNS OF HIS COMING,  there are some who are fearful and uncertain.

SIGNS AND MORE SIGNS

It's true that we are being bombarded daily with all kinds of “ALARMING NEWS." Many of our government leaders are corrupt, immoral, anti-Christian, anti-American, globalist funded dismantlers of our Constitution. 
When they are not spewing out their extreme liberal ideology, they are passing laws to protect special interest groups, while at the same time criminalizing freedom of speech, religion, and stripping parents of their parental rights. 
New abortion laws allow for the murder of a baby up to delivery.  If the baby is born and the mother doesn't want it, abortion doctors will leave the baby on a table alone, and wait for it to die.  Euthanasia laws are in the making.  There is same sex marriage, and adoption.  Then there is the dozens of made up new genders and transgender whores reading to young children in local libraries.

The Roman Catholic Pope who denies most all of literal interpretation of scripture, is working endlessly to unite the world's religions. I wonder who he serves??? Certainly not the God of the Bible.

Our Morals and Values are in a downward spiral. Even our Christian faith is being challenged not only by the world, but by apostates, false teachers and their followers who claim Christianity, but deny the Word of God.

The overwhelming influx of immigration from enemy foreign countries is literally changing the landscape in the Western world.  Islam is spreading like wildfire, and has made it's way into western government positions, pushing for Sharia law to be passed even here in the states.

Floods, Droughts, Fires, Famines, Record Cold, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Tornados, Hurricanes and Monsoons...grow more intense each and every year.

There are wars and rumors of wars.  Israel being threatened by the entire world....and the list goes on....

Even More Signs - A New Age With An Antichrist Agenda

Randall Baer, a former top New Age leader who became a born again Christian expresses the nature of the conspiracy we must contend with in his revealing bestseller, Inside The New Age Nightmare. 

He wrote,

“This agenda is nothing less than the complete revolutionizing of the very foundations of not only America but the entire world. Such a plan calls for the total restructuring of planetary civilization into an enlightened One World Federation in which national boundaries and sovereignty are secondary, and ‘planetary citizenship’ in the ‘global village’ is the order of the day. This (conspiracy) offers a world in desperate need a grand solution to profound global problems. Apparent world peace and unprecedented opportunities … are to be unveiled.”

This is nothing more than a mask hiding the coming of the antichrist.

GLOBALIZATION - NEW WORLD ORDER TRANSFORMATION THROUGH POLITICS

This encompasses the political agenda of how we view governments and laws to bring us into unity as global citizens instead of separate countries. World trade and commerce will unite us as global citizens for the 21st century.

On Jan 30, 1976 a document was signed by 32 senators and 92 representatives called the declaration of interdependence(,) “Two centuries ago our forefathers brought forth a new nation now we must join with others to bring forth a new world order.”

Robert Muller former Asst. Sect. General of the UN “The United Nations is much more than a political organization, it is a paradigm, the expression of a deep, evolutionary change which in the long run will transform the world for the best. (New Genesis, p. 122)

Political unification goes hand in hand with spiritual unification.

HOW CLOSE ARE WE?  

The storm clouds are gathering and closing in the distance. We are living in the days of Noah just like the scriptures foretold. When you see prophecy happening right before your eyes, I'd say that Jesus is coming very soon to take us home.

Life is not getting any easier, in fact it's going to get worse, much worse. How do I know? Because scripture tells us this. Jesus said that there would be perilous times coming. He warned us of what the conditions would be in the last age. We not only need to be aware, but we need to be ready. 

The Good News is that God has a plan for us!

Are you worried, stressed and scared? You don’t have to be, because there is an answer to all of this turmoil. In a word, JESUS!  Turn to Him, trust in Him.  Where else in this world can you find TRUTH? We have the Bible, the INSPIRED, GOD BREATHED HOLY SCRIPT, and it is in the contents of this BOOK that you will find answers, and peace of mind.

In Luke 21:33 Jesus proclaims,
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
His Words are sure, accurate, and trustworthy; divine, gracious, mighty, spiritual, life-giving, incomparable, everlasting and RELEVANT TO OUR LIVES.

In Matthew 24 Jesus and His disciples travel up to the Mt. of Olives. It is here that He warns them of the coming “Great Deception”, and instructs them to, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” (Verse 4) “Take Heed . . .” Literally in the Greek translation, the word is “blepo” which means to behold, beware, to perceive, to regard. In the Webster’s Dictionary it means to guard, to pay attention to. “Take Heed that no man deceive you.” Isn’t it plain to see that there is much deception in this world, and an ever greater 'deception' coming?  Jesus gave warning of this more than 2,000 years ago so that we ourselves would not be deceived.

Satan’s master plan is to deceive as many as he can away from God and the salvation he freely offers to all.  Satan knows his days are numbered, he will destroy as many souls as he can before the Lord destroys him.

Brothers and sisters, take heed.  Stay close to the Lord. Stay in His Word.

"God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:6-8

It is my prayer for you that you will KNOW GOD’S WORD, and draw close to the Lord in these days of GREAT DECEPTION, that you will not be fall prey to every wind of false doctrine. Jesus’ plan for you is to save you from the Wrath That Is To Come.

The Bible is clear about our hope and salvation,
“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.” I Thessalonians 4:15-18

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:51,52

Are you ready or are you still warming your hands at the enemy’s fire?  Repent and turn to the Lord.

Have you received salvation through Jesus Christ? If you haven’t, don’t wait, do it now and be assured of where you will spend eternity.

THE BIBLE SAYS OF THE SINNER 

“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."  Proverbs 6:25

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Romans 2:8-9

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."  Revelation 20:15

THE BIBLE SAYS OF THE SAVIOUR

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Romans 5:8-9

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." 1 Peter 1:18-19

THE SINNER RECEIVES THE SAVIOR

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  Romans 10:9

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

If you would like to be forgiven of your sins and place your trust in Jesus Christ, look to Him and pray. Acknowledge your sins before Him and ask Him to cleanse you of all unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. Invite Him into your heart as Lord and Savior of your life. Read your Bible daily and obey the Scriptures, so that you will learn and grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

Being convinced that I am a sinner, and knowing that Christ died for the ungodly, I humbly turn to you Lord with a penitent heart to receive Jesus as my Saviour. With your help I shall confess Him before all men and follow Him as my Lord and King.

The Bible states that in the last days, many will not endure sound doctrine. Where will you stand?
