INTRODUCTION: This is an interview with Dr. Greg Reid, a youth pastor, speaker, author of many books, who has his own website, and is a former victim of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) and a man of GOD who understands spiritual warfare because it’s a reality for him.
He has written a book about it: WAR of the AGES: A Complete Scriptural Guide to Confronting and Defeating Satan’s kingdom.
The purpose of this interview is to excite interest and hunger in the readers to get this book into their hands and devour its contents, become familiar with and eventually adept at spiritual warfare – something that’s been forgotten in today’s modern American church and is terribly needed in this day and age, and the darkness that’s not only growing, but seeking to overwhelm and defeat those unprepared to face it.
TTUF has provided a summary of the book which you can read here; this was also produced to encourage Christians to get the book, and with an open Bible search these things out and determine where GOD has them positioned in His army.

Q#24: We tend to view the Nativity scene with hearts all aglow with the promise of "peace on Earth, good will to men"- but for Satan (and Herod his puppet), they experienced cold hearted fear over this new born king with His holy invasion to supplant their rule.
As a warrior of GOD does it encourage you to know that you 'supplant' Satan's rule every time you deny sin, deny demonic influences, deny his attempt to stop your ministry as well as see Satan defeated in the lives of others?
A: Yes, Absolutely. In fact that's part of the Warrior's DNA. Knowing that you are not "shadow boxing" as Paul said, but that you are fighting to challenge, disarm and defeat a real enemy is what keeps you fighting, even in some seeming defeats.
Q#25: Christians will seek for an outpouring of GOD's Spirit, the sort of unction that happened at Christ's baptism - and then expect to plow through Satan's kingdom with little or no resistance. I wonder sometimes when people seek GOD's outpouring if they are shocked at the satanic onslaught from the enemy. Comments?
A: Well, it's clear according to Mark that after Jesus was baptized, "Immediately the Holy Spirit drove him into the wilderness." We are called, then we are equipped, and that equipping usually comes through real confrontation with the enemy.
Q#26: How do we tell the difference between the times of testing in GOD's appointed wildernesses and Satanic aspirations to derail our faith?
A: We can't sometimes. And in those times, we have to lean on the Word: "God is at work in all things to produce good." When I am hit by something, I try to comb through things to see if the enemy has gotten in somehow, and if there's no obvious reason for the enemy to attack, I sit under the hand of God and pray and wait "Until this storm be over past." And sometimes, as in the case of Job, God allows an attack of the enemy to the end that we might see God's glory defeat that attack and make us stronger.
Q#27: The lust of the flesh, of the eyes, and the pride of life - same old tired tactics by Satan, yet he's too often successful with them, even among Christians who are aware of such tactics - explain?
A: I think it helps to dissect exactly what these things are. It's too easy to simplify it, you know, like, "Yes I sometimes lust with my eyes," or "I’m proud sometimes,” but we need SPECIFIC heart examination. HOW am I lusting in my flesh? Am I allowing activities to feed that lust? How do I lust with my eyes? What things am I watching that open those doors? Pornography? Graphic violence in movies? HOW am I proud? In my speech, in the way I treat my kids or how I come off in church to other believers? When we let God get to the specifics then we can begin to ask Him to change those things.
Q#28a: In ancient times soldiers would attempt to infiltrate the enemy's camp at night and make off with their weapons stored in their armory.
Satan has done much the same with the watering down of the various translations, paraphrases as well as teaching at our American pulpits. What can be done to excite a return to faithful reading, study, and application of faithful translations and of biblical teaching?
A: I think it starts by exposing how and why the enemy got in the back door of the church and spoiled our weaponry. I do a day class on these things, going through the specifics: Yoga, circle making, bad translations, unbiblical books like Jesus Calling and The Shack, and show how and why they got it, and biblically, exposing the lies behind it. In some ways, a full education on how to discern these biblically is in order for most believers and churches.
Q#28b: What are the advantages of having our own Bible in hand, rather than following along on what's projected on the screen (perhaps even over reading along on our Bible app)?
A: Physical Bibles are more visual and visceral: You see it and touch it, and you can underline it and write notes in it. That’s just not happening when all you see is a verse on a screen. And it’s not really happening when you use your Bible app, though that’s better than nothing. But it’s easy to check your Bible app verse and suddenly get a Facebook message…and away the verse goes into the land of ethernet forgetfulness.
I also miss when we carried Bibles everywhere because nobody mistook who you were and what you were about. Phone Bibles are convenient but are also an easy way to hide our faith.
Reply from James:
I was reading my Bible on public buses on my phone, and I realized that I looked like everyone else who were reading or watching things on their phones. I decided to get a pocket Bible, complete with gold edging and ribbon – so you couldn’t mistake it as just another book.
It was amazing how different people treated me then, when they saw I was reading a Bible!
Chapter EIGHT:
Q#29: ROMANS 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen - Is this verse among the most challenging in persuading Christians of the truth that it expresses?
A: It’s an anchor of hope: shortly to us and to God, as you know, are two different things! So I take encouragement from this verse in two ways: The hope that God will not allow Satan to triumph over me in this life and he will be extinguished eternally before long!
Q#30a: It's been said that "Satan's greatest work is not in possession (demonization) but in simple temptation. Care to elaborate?
A: If you take out a lead soldier, then it’s one down. But if you get a bunch of them to trip, you can take out a whole platoon. Temptation is satan’s favorite and most effective tool because enticement is so powerful: “there is pleasure in sin for a season.” (HEB 11:25) So he paints up the pleasure to lead us to the pit and mocks us when we fall in it and realize that season of pleasure was short and the price you pay is now here.
Q#30b: Satan, the great economist will always go for the least expensive method of taking out believers - fiery darts if that proves effective, rather than something more expensive - like demonization?
A: Absolutely. And it’s the barrage that is most effective. I talk about this with youth while explaining the difference between Holy Spirit conviction and satanic condemnation: The Holy Spirit lovingly and firmly points to ONE THING He wants us to deal with, repent of, and be free of: Satan BARRAGES us with 100 things and adds his own touch: “You did this. How can you call yourself a Christian? You did that. Do you think you are even saved?” He comes in fast and furious until we feel crippled to even pray.
Q#31: Would you say seeker-friendly programs, emergent/progressive and New Apostolic Reformation movements, mega-church buildings and projects are all satanic distractions to disarm us, setting us up for an overwhelming onslaught of Satan's impending attack (via persecution)?
A: I absolutely do. And these movements have been building on each other and blending together for a long time. It has taken away clear Biblical and prophetic focus away from believers.
Q#32: Infiltration of churches by witches displaying seemingly spiritual/charismatic gifts are hi-jacking ministries, destroying churches, even marriages within church leadership all across the nation: T or F? Elaborate?
A: I have definitely seen that. I have seen them infiltrate a church, get involved in prayer meetings, donate large sums to the church, gain positions on a board or eldership, then find a way to sow division, gossip, and strife.
Q#33: I've known some Christians who crave 'signs and wonders', spiritual gifts, power like a prophet - always seeking some fast-track towards this goal. Yet GOD's way is patient, methodical, etc. How then do we acquire formidable spiritual power to become a genuine threat to the kingdom of darkness?
A: We need to be Word-warriors and place spending time with God and His Word at the top of our priority list. We need to stop chasing prophets and people that have anointed themselves such-and-such. If we FOLLOW Jesus, then Jesus said these signs would FOLLOW those that believe, not those who follow movements and conventions.
Chapter NINE:
Q#34: What difference does it make if we believe "demons" and "unclean spirits" are just alternate words for "fallen angels" - or if we believe that fallen angels are distinct from these unclean spirits known as demons? How would one's belief on these matters influence our effectiveness in spiritual warfare?
A: I think it’s the difference between recognizing the difference between an army private, say, and a General. The fallen angels are those Generals, I believe, Daniel spoke of – princes over territories. Demons are foot soldiers. Paul referred to “powers, principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places.” It appears that fallen angels control larger swaths of territory on earth. Demons just do the dirty work. Because of that, I believe they are easier to identify as such and dispatch.
Q#35: Demons being the disembodied spirits of nephilim* are no longer able to satisfy physical lusts as they once did (as giants) - the primary reason why they seek to invade human bodies. I think the torment they experience will be similar to that of the damned who while in hell will be unable to satisfy their lusts. Comments?

A: I agree. Demons seek bodies to try and vicariously experience sin through a human body. But humans and demonic spirits cannot intermingle, and so the demons end up tormenting and being tormented at the same time – the same way hell will be an eternity of being consumed by sin’s destructive lusts but never able to be satisfied, only tormented by that lust.
Q#36a: Do you believe that sexual perversion between humans and fallen angels goes on today? What form does it take today (such as 'aliens') and why?
A: There is no way to know for sure, but if one believes, as I do, that God destroyed the race in GENESIS 6 because of angelic/human sexual intermingling, and that this activity apparently CONTINUED, since David and the nation of Israel STILL had to fight the giants which were a product of such abominable activity and intermingling, then it becomes clear that the plan of Satan to continue that forbidden “leaving of the first estate” (JUDE 1:6) will likely continue until Jesus’ return and the final judgment. In some ways, I make sense of the “alien” phenomenon in that context: A continued attempt by the fallen angels not only to create a race of satanic miscreants, but also create a great deception at the end to convince people they are from another planet.

Q#36b: Based on GENESIS 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel, some believe that the Beast will be a nephilim, the literal seed of Satan who will - or more likely has already - impregnated a 'bride of Satan' (It's interesting to note that both the beast and the false prophet are cast immediately into the lake of fire without being sentenced at the Great White Throne judgment).
A: I’m a little leery of the “serpent seed” teaching, not because I know it’s incorrect but because I have not studied it enough. So I’ll reserve judgment for now! However, it does leave me an opportunity for one of my favorite statements: (It’s not original) “Satan started out as a snake in the garden and ended up being a dragon in Revelation. Somebody’s been feeding that thang!”
Reply by James: I believe that the serpent seed doctrine is unbiblical, that Cain was the product of Satan to promote the seed of the serpent (the Bible knows nothing of such a thing).
I find it intriguing however that the “son of perdition” who is the beast, whose coming is after the working of Satan, is in some sense the son of Satan, and it’s possible that he may literally be a son of Satan, that is, a nephilim created by a physical manifestation of Satan, impregnating one of his ‘brides of Satan’ to conceive this one who will become the coming One World Leader.
Q#37a: Why would Satan bother with the propagation of nephilim? Perhaps because he suffers a 1 to 2 disadvantage between his own angels and GOD's?
A: Perhaps, or perhaps because he is incapable of procreation himself. Jealous of God’s creation, who cannot just be children but create children. Purely insane spite against God who he rejected and was therefore exiled from God.
Q#37b: Do you suppose that "the return of the nephilim" could be the formation of the Beast's elite guard (similarly to NAZI Germany's SS)?
A: I won’t rule that out. Some of my friends think so. I know people think these things are extreme, but as a former criminal justice trainer on the occult and crimes against children, on more than one occasion, someone in a position to know (one being a retired Lt Colonel in the army) told me that they had seen with their own eyes children being genetically experimented on. And another gave me a clear description of programs to genetically enhance soldiers to create a “perfect [super] soldier.” So nothing is out of the realm of possibility, unfortunately.
Q#38a: The spiritual dynamic of the shedding of blood, particularly that of infants is something universal among many of the pagan religions. Do you suppose this might be why taking down Planned Parenthood is so difficult - because of the principalities and powers that 'feed off' of the sacrificed babies?
A: No question. “The blood is the life.” (DEUT 12:23) There is something powerful about life, and about blood. It took Jesus’ physical blood to redeem us, cleanse us. We even sing about it: “There is power, power, wonder-working power, in the blood of the Lamb.”
And the enemy knows this as well. Just as there is power in Jesus’ blood, the sacredness of human blood is a mystery. But devil worshippers and pagans for centuries have spilled blood because they believe that there is spiritual power that they can obtain from doing so. What happens in effect is because it is a brutal sin to spill innocent blood, demons revel in that sacrifice and always show up and begin to control and demonize those doing such horrible acts. Those who do it will “feel” power. But it will not be theirs, but the demons who now have their talons into them!
Q#38b: For this reason, before we parade with signs and slogans of pro-life, and petition legislators and get involved politically and socially, that this is a war that must first be fought on the spiritual front? Some believe it’s only the spiritual front that matters - the rest is wasted effort: thoughts?
A: It is both. First and always it is about the Gospel; redeeming the lost so that fewer babies will be slaughtered. Second it is spiritual warfare against these murderous demons. And it is ALSO about taking a stand, because the scriptures say in MICAH 6:8 “He has shown thee o man what is good, and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly [justice] and love mercy and walk humbly with your God. Doing justly means taking up the cause of the innocent and those who cannot protect themselves. If unborn babies do not qualify for that, then nobody does.

Chapter TEN:
Q#39: The kingdom of darkness incorporates everyone and everything outside of the body of Christ; therefore should all Christians in the body of Christ likewise be involved in spiritual warfare - and are all called to the same level and degree as some 'hard-core' warriors such as yourself?
A: I think everyone [in the body of Christ] should recognize that Jesus said, “In My Name you will cast out devils” and be prepared to engage the enemy should it be necessary. But it does seem to me that some are called to be involved in situations that can be a bit more dangerous or difficult.
Q#40: The 'tower' of Babel was the occult incorporated. Talk about how the corporation that's been operating underground but has emerged. What are some of the key players of the occult we see In these last days?
A: The revival of Babylon, that satanic institution that began with the tower, is in full swing right now. Much of science is becoming alchemy. Even the CERN supercollider in Switzer is more of an occult working than a strictly scientific endeavor, with the statue of Shiva, the “creator/destroyer” god of the Hindus, right outside the door to the facility. They have admitted to wanting to open dimensional doors – just as I believe was attempted at Babel. Will this be the thing that opens the door to the bottomless pit? Who knows?
I think this “global shift” and “reset” will be the structural framework for antichrist to take power. Belgium is the center of luciferian power from what I understand. And some people think Macron of France will be a key player. We will see.
If anyone doubts this is more than political maneuvering, they can watch the opening ceremony for the new tunnel through the Swiss alps that was done a couple of years back. It was a demonic, satanic ritual. And who was in attendance? Most of the European heads of state, including Angela Merkel and Macron. It is yet to be determined the role we will play in the USA. Without a miracle, we may be reduced to a third world state by then: or we will surrender and become part of the European beast.
Q#41: When we read about events that create a paradigm shift - the tearing down of the Berlin wall, 911, the CO\/1D-l9 Plandemic, etc. - do these events mirror or parallel events occurring in the unseen spiritual realm? What should Christian's response to these things be?
A: They are the shiftings of powers and principalities on the enemy’s chessboard. Our response as believers should be to give our 1000% to the preaching of the Gospel while we still can, and more than ever, speak the absolute truth to a dying world about the only hope for humanity – the cross of Jesus and His redemptive blood for forgiveness of sins.
Chapter ELEVEN:
Q#42: The degradation of sin on a soul is a microcosm of the same effects sin has on a society (ISAIAH 1:4-7). How has Satan been busy in degrading our nation by replacing GOD's order with his own (dis)order? What vehicles is he using (Ex: BLM, Evolution, LGBTQ, Cultural Marxism, etc.)?
A: He uses all the above: I also think he is using genetics as well. He lost heaven and can never regain it. He can create nothing, just cobble together already existing things into some Frankenstein monster of a world. He hates that God created and loves people, so he does all he can to mock, pervert and mar the created being God loves. He is using these sexual twistings to mar the image of God in His creation so that sin leaves little, or nothing left of that image. Evolution produced a culture of death vs the culture of life Jesus gave us and wants us to preach. Satan takes all that is good and sets up a crass imitation and reversal of those things.
Q#43: How is raising a godly family where parents properly disciple their children related to spiritual warfare, which can prove effective in influencing the culture?
A: That is where I really believe parents are starting to wake up somewhat by resisting and denying school boards the power to parent our kids or hoist destructive agendas like transgender, BLM, and Critical Race Theory on them. But we’ve been trying to wake up parents on these things for years, the enemy already has a huge head start. So every Christian parent needs to make raising godly kids top priority. Don’t expect the schools to do it. Don’t leave it to church to do it. It’s your responsibility first.
Q#44a: Relegating the concept of truth to mere subjectivity is dangerous, but in what way?
A: If there are no absolute truths, then society becomes like the Lord of the Flies where power belongs to the strongest and rules are made up by tyrants. Objective Biblical truth makes all of us equal and equally responsible to it. It tells us murder is a sin and a crime. It tells us abusing children is a monstrous sin against God. Without objective truth, people will justify any sinful behavior imaginable.
Q#44b: How does a society break down without the guidance of objective truth (ROM 1; esp. vs.18).
A: ROMANS 1 is a perfect picture of the disintegration of a society due to (1) rejecting God and His truth and then, (2) through indulging in sin, receiving a lie and subsequently (3) being unable to tell the difference between good and evil, truth and lie. Romans 1 is a progression of evil and sin’s progressive consequences upon not just an individual, but a society. And it is eerily similar to the way things are playing out in our country right now.

Q#45: How soon can we expect the publication of DIARY of a DEVIL HUNTER and what key elements in that work have been expanded upon? Are you/have you met with a lot of satanic resistance in this endeavor?
A: I am hoping to complete it by the summer of 2022 or sooner. Besides being a documentation of the battles and investigations of the mid 1980’s to mid1990’s against satanic crime and occultism, particularly related to youth, I am going to attempt to tell the REAL story behind the “satanic panic” movement and how several groups – some claiming to be “Christian” – coalesced to go after anyone and everyone that was claiming that satanic crime and ritual child abuse was real. It’s a stunning story and it needs to be told, especially since we are now in a time when the accepted “narrative” is that it was all village folklore and “satanic panic” with no evidence to support the idea that satanic crime was real.
The spiritual opposition to this book is already pretty fierce, and I fully expect the other side to go on a full scale attack on it when it does come out. They watch everything that is said or done on the Internet and in media on these subjects and does not hesitate to bring their vile attacks on anyone who dares speak out.
