Today we are going to take a biblical look at a trending group known as Black Lives Matter. I assume that no one here is unaware of this growing movement. If you are, you need to get your head out of the sand. Some may see this as a social issue only, but as we will soon see this is very much a God issue – an anti-God issue. We will hold the Black Lives Matter movement to the light of God’s Word to discover its true intentions.

The question I’m going to answer through today’s message is “Should we as Christians be supporting the Black Lives Matter movement?”
I can’t help but notice that some professing Christians are for this movement, approving and advocating for this group – it may be due to misinformation, ignorance or even worse willful submission due to the fear of being called racist or being ostracized (disliked).
One thing I must make clear is that, Black Lives DO Matter and where they are wronged it should be made right. Where there is injustice, justice must be served. Where there is racism, it must be uprooted – BUT I would have you know that no social group and no political group can truly bring about the inner change the world so desperately needs – ONLY the gospel message of Jesus Christ can do that!
Listen, as a loving reminder now is not the time to be cowardly and silent. Now is not the time to go with the flow. Now is not the time to be politically correct. Now is not the time to give in to fear and intimidation. We don’t riot, we don’t protest, we don’t spew hatred, we must simply stand boldly, lovingly, yet unapologetically on the Word of God!
If we allow this world to muzzle the mouth of the Church and snuff out the light of the gospel (the small light that America has left) – darkness will rapidly sweep the land and many souls will perish.
We are not called the salt and light of the earth for nothing – LIGHT points to us proclaiming biblical truth and living holy, happy lives; SALT points to us preserving the rotting and corruption of this world. But if salt losses it’s flavor and preserving power it is good for nothing (ineffective and powerless) but to be trampled under the feet of men.” These are Jesus’ words:
MATTHEW 5:13,14
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Which means that true change can’t come through Black Lives Matter, a new world order, a political party or any social group or false religion for that matter, but only and exclusively by the Body of Jesus Christ alone – through spreading the gospel with lives and lips and making disciples (helping people attain new hearts in Christ).
Jesus truly is the answer to all of the world’s problems.
I can clearly see the persecution of the Church in America on the horizon, now more than ever and we must be ready for it*. Much of the church in America is too soft, too complacent, too distracted, too entertained, too disinterested, too worldly and we pose little to no threat to the kingdom of darkness.

The question I’m going to answer through today’s message is “Should we as Christians be supporting the Black Lives Matter movement?”

* ARE YOU PERSECUTION PROOF?
If Christians stay away from the local church due to the fear that they might get the Corona virus, yet they take their chances going everywhere else, those same Christians won’t stand the heat of the lightest of persecution. Mark my words!
The information I’m going to share about Black Lives Matter was taken directly from their own website under the “What we believe” tab.
BLM says and I quote:
“We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege”
Cisgender is your birth-sex or natural sexual orientation which is either male or female. BLM hates the idea that there should only be male and female; that this reality should be viewed as natural or normal.
From a basic scientific standpoint as well as a biblical standpoint - Gender is not an optional - We do not get to choose our gender; God did that for us when He created us in our mother’s womb:
PSALM 139:13-16
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them (See also MATT 19:4).
Just like we did not choose who our biological parents would be, or where we would be born or the color of our eyes and skin would be, we can’t choose our sex. Our humble response is to just appreciate the LORD for making us the way that He did.
Notice BLM says we do the work required to "dismantle (or destroy) cisgender." This is a demonically influenced, well thought out plan to get rid of God’s design.
In MARK 10:6 Jesus the Creator says,
But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female (Adam and Eve).
No other variation of gender is found here. The attack is clearly on God’s way and Word.
BLM also says and I quote:
“We foster (promote or affirm) a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of hetero-normative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).”
Again they hate the idea that a relationship has to be one man and one woman. That we should only be attracted to the opposite sex. This is a clear attack on God’s design for marriage between one man and one woman.
God says in:

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
BLM are not into one flesh, they are into strange flesh – they are for unnatural sexual relations which is something the LORD hates because it doesn’t reflect Him and it destroys humanity. Again BLM is a clear assault on God’s holy ways.
JUDE 1:7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
BLM also says and I quote:
“We dismantle the patriarchal practice”
In other words, they are feminist. They are against a society where men lead just as they are against homes where men lead.
1 CORINTHIANS 11:3
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head [leader] of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
They want to blur the roles of men and women especially of the father figure.
Today we celebrate Father’s Day. If it was up to BLM they would delete this day.

BLM also says and I quote:
“We disrupt the Western-prescribed (really it’s biblically prescribed and designed) nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and 'villages' that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”
In other words they are against the biblical family unit. They believe and work towards this warped idea that children should be raised by the whole community not just by mom and dad.
The Bible is packed with verses about fatherhood, motherhood, and the family unit. The 5th commandment tells us to “honor our father and mother.”
EXODUS 20:12
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
But in the society that BLM is working towards, this command is in danger.
MALACHI 4:6
And he [speaking of John the Baptist] will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.
God here warns against the disruption of the family unit – says he will judge and punish. God desires for family to be tightly knitted together in Him. For children to respect their parents and for parents to instruct and love their children – for parents to give this responsibility the world or BLM movement.
Last quote from BLM:
#Defund the Police
To defund the police is complete lawlessness. It’s stupidity really. But this is where we are as a Nation. Police officers are a gift from God to bring about peace and order.
ROMANS 13:1-2
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities [this includes police officers] that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
Could it be that BLM is working to replace today’s police with their own – a police force that will cater to their belief (like the one is I’ve mentioned)?
If we are honest, what BLM stands for is not black lives but all that is anti-Christ. And if you notice, they take to the streets only when a white cop (or man) kills a black man but where is the outrage when a black cop (or man) kills another black man?
Where is the outrage when it’s a known fact that Planned Parenthood kills for more black babies than white babies?
Why doesn’t Black Lives Matter have a statement that says they will relentlessly fight against Planned Parenthood? So, is this really about caring for the black community? Or is there a more sinister agenda here? Let’s think logically here.
Listen if you are a Christian and you can still stand with BLM after hearing these facts – you may not be a Christian at all.
Also, keep in mind that these precious people (BLM) are not the enemy!
“we don’t fight against flesh and blood but Satan and His demons (see: EPH 6:12-18),” they are the mission field. Listen, Christians in America are going to be tested in the area of having to love our enemies in ways we’ve not been tested before.
MATTHEW 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you
Let’s prepare our own hearts for the high levels of hatred that is building up towards us.

According to the Communist Manifesto, all these were prior conditions for a transition from capitalism to communism (but Marx and Engels later expressed a desire to modernize this passage[7]).
Also from Crossroads ministry: Explanation of RULES for RADICALS by Saul Alinksy. In his book Alinsky said this on the dedication page:
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer."
