"We see, in many a land, the proudest dynasties and tyrannies still crushing, with their mountain weight, every free motion of the Consciences and hearts of men. We see, on the other hand, the truest heroism for the right and the greatest devotion to the Truth in hearts that God has touched. We have a work to do, as great as our forefathers and, perhaps, far greater. The enemies of Truth are more numerous and subtle than ever and the needs of the Church are greater than at any preceding time. If we are not debtors to the present, then men were never debtors to their age and their time. Brethren, we are debtors to the hour in which we live. Oh, that we might stamp it with Truth and that God might help us to impress upon its wings some proof that it has not flown by neglected and unheeded." -- C.H. Spurgeon . . . "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31, 32 . . . . .

The Burden of Damascus

In the following message, Amir Tsarfati shares Israel's importance in history, God's plan for His Chosen People, and how unfolding current events are confirming everything long foretold in scripture. We are exhorted to prayerfully seek to understand how God is working in the Middle East, and how it is His will that we support Israel.

Amir Tsarfati is a Jewish believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born and raised in Jerusalem and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ after he watched the “Jesus” film during his teens.

He is the director of Behold Israel, (www.beholdisrael.org) a teaching ministry about Israel, Islam, current events and the Middle East. He has consulted work for various law enforcement agencies in the US and has been invited to give seminars on homeland security issues. He is a captain in the Israeli Defense Force Army. He was Deputy governor of Jericho and sat on the panel which negotiated its turnover to the Palestinians. Amir speaks 4 languages, leads tours as a guide and is currently the General Manager of Sar-El Tours. Amir and his family live in Northern Israel.
