UN’s Anti-Blasphemy Resolution restricts free speech, promotes Islam
The attached video is shocking. So shocking that you’ll immediately wonder why every major news organization hasn’t carried it. This measure is obviously in direct conflict with the U.S. Constitution and a clear violation of free speech.
Freedom Under Fire United Nations Anti-Blasphemy Resolution A group of 57 organizations of Islamic Countries are pushing such a resolution and claim that “This resolution is a major step towards sensitizing the international community on the serious impact of defamation of religions….”
Who’s religion? I don’t see my faith represented here, do you? Though the free citizens of the United States of America strongly oppose this, and the resolution has yet to be passed, the UN continues to push this ahead. Can you imagine the impact it would have on free speech?
Books exposing Islam’s religion, agenda and extremists would not be written, News Reports could not be shared, Our rights to claim Islam as a false religion would not exist. Simply put, their goal is to extend the influence of Sharia (Islamic) law in the West.
I wonder where our President stands on this issue. In an interview with the New York Times, Obama described the Muslim call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."
The Times' Nicholos Kristof wrote Obama recited, "with a first-class [Arabic] accent," the opening lines of the Muslim call to prayer. The first few lines of the call to prayer state: Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme! I witness that there is no god but Allah I witness that there is no god but Allah I witness that Muhammad is his prophet ...
I don’t know about you, but as a Christian, I personally object to the “pretty sounding” prayer and would like to maintain the right to object to the Islam religion as being “supreme” it is not! The Bible declares Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords and one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all! This is what the Christian Bible states, maybe the UN would like to protect Christians as well? Doubtful!

I believe that ultimately, once the North American Union is established here, there will be a State Religion (an amalgam of the Roman Catholic church which will spearhead all the major religions, including Islam, Emergent Churches, and others) and that any word spoken against the State Religion will be considered blasphemous.
