"We see, in many a land, the proudest dynasties and tyrannies still crushing, with their mountain weight, every free motion of the Consciences and hearts of men. We see, on the other hand, the truest heroism for the right and the greatest devotion to the Truth in hearts that God has touched. We have a work to do, as great as our forefathers and, perhaps, far greater. The enemies of Truth are more numerous and subtle than ever and the needs of the Church are greater than at any preceding time. If we are not debtors to the present, then men were never debtors to their age and their time. Brethren, we are debtors to the hour in which we live. Oh, that we might stamp it with Truth and that God might help us to impress upon its wings some proof that it has not flown by neglected and unheeded." -- C.H. Spurgeon . . . "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31, 32 . . . . .

IS TIME RUNNING OUT FOR AMERICA?

By: A.M. Kisly

A friend of mine posted this picture on a recent blog regarding this subject. I think it says it all, and it's well worth the read. The Red Pill Consortium A Nightmare Whose Time Is Coming

The news gets more bizarre by the day.
If it’s change you wanted in America, change is what you are getting! My mother used to say, “Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.”

I believe the American public has been duped again. Promises, promises! The politicians make promises and break them. There is always some wicked agenda lurking in the dark, as they lie to our faces. They promise us the moon, then hand us another lemon.

President Obama along with other elected officials all claim to be "Christians" when running for office, and then mock God and the Bible when they've been elected. A prime example of this is portrayed in the short video at the following link location. Barack Obama Mocks And Makes Fun Of The Bible—No Christian Would Do This

There is a subtle battle going on in out country that would strip away our "Rights and Freedoms". Our right to worship God without the Federal Government imposing it's immoral laws upon us.

Andrea Lafferty, executive director of the
Traditional Values Coalition, says the bill is a serious threat to religious freedom. "Your pastor could be prosecuted for conspiracy to commit a hate crime if it passes and become law," she warns. "This so-called 'hate crimes' bill will be used to lay the legal foundation and framework to investigate, prosecute, and persecute pastors, business owners, Bible teachers, Sunday School teachers, youth pastors -- you name it -- or anyone else whose actions are based upon and reflect the truth found in the Bible." TVC says H.R. 1913 broadly defines "intimidation" -- and offers up this example: "A pastor's sermon could be considered 'hate speech' under this legislation if heard by an individual who then acts aggressively against persons based on 'sexual orientation.'" Under those circumstances, says the group, the pastor could be prosecuted for "conspiracy to commit a hate crime."

What about our freedom of speech?

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid are being told to prove once and for all that the "Fairness Doctrine" will not be reinstated – by calling for a vote to strip the FCC of its authority to reinstitute the broadcast policy."
No 'Fairness Doctrine'? Prove it! What about the "Food Police"? It's called HR 875. That's right, a whole new government agency is being created just to police food, for our own protection of course. HR 875 The food police, criminalizing organic farming and the backyard gardener, and violation of the 10th amendment

Our Congress works hard at getting new laws written "on our behalf" then attaches unpopular and "unpublicized" extras without our knowing it. NICE!

This morning's news declared that congress will soon be passing a Bill that "protects" credit card holders from the corrupt practices of many Credit Institutions. Sounds like a good thing, right? Well it would be if it stood on its own merit. But as usual, the politicians have attached a gun ban law to it, which will likely pass because it is not made public knowledge.

They do not inform us, because they do not want us to know their agenda. They have an agenda to push, a"New World Order", and it's time we wake up to that fact.

This Administration promised to be transparent. THEY ARE NOT. They are the same shameless liars, deceivers and cheats that we have had to endure in times past.

Remember the Bill of Rights?
I think you should read them, so that you may know what is being stolen from you on a daily basis. The Constitution of the United States of America

Who are these people changing the Constitution of the United States, and taking away our Bill of Rights? Why aren't the vast majority of American citizens outraged?

This is just more proof that we are indeed at the end. But....it is still our responsibility to search out the truth, to pray for our leaders and our country and to take a stand where ever and whenever we can.

We still live in America, we still live according the the laws of the land, AND THAT LAW STATES THAT WE HAVE CERTAIN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, so fight for those freedoms.

What should we do then? Should we remain silent and assume that God is in control and leave the responsibility to Him alone? Should we become angry and radical in our fight for freedom? Maybe we should just be responsible. By that I mean responsible in what we do with our freedoms in our votes, in our relationship with God, and our testimony to man.
We can take a stand for righteousness in how we vote. We may have to take the extra step and go the extra mile and call or write our elected officials to voice our opinions. We can get on our knees and pray!

Pray for our country.
Pray for our leaders.
Pray for repentance, and a return to God for this nation.

It is the best thing we can do, sometimes the only thing we can do, but always the most effective thing to do because God commands us to do so.
We can "Stand Fast", Christians! We can remain steadfast! We can maintain our walk with God, live in holiness and purity, not compromise and be obedient to His Word.

We can stay in Christian Fellowship, study the Word of God and PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST TO EVERYONE WE KNOW.
What we cannot afford to do, is nothing.

Events are not rolling speedily downhill which are eroding American Sovereignty and our way of life; they are in FREE FALL!

It seems almost, not quite, but almost pointless to take political action, i.e. writing our representatives, voting certain issues 'yea' or 'nay'. I think it's still a good idea just so there can be an official witness of protest (which no doubt will be recalled to mind by the Judge of the Universe, the Almighty God), but the primary recourse that Christians must resort to now is sober-minded prayer, fasting, the affliction of our souls, repentance from all sin, obedience to the WORD of GOD in all its applications.

While meant for Israel contextually, I believe that 2 Chronicles 7:14 can be applied to our current situation.

A nation-wide call of repentance of all born again believers in the LORD Jesus Christ: a 'grass-roots' revival is mandatory and necessary if we are to see our land healed. Or if its perhaps gone beyond that point, then to prepare the church to enter this crucible of persecution, which will purify the true believers, burn away all false professors, and bring an undeniable witness to the nation; a final proclaimation from the church of the LORD Jesus Christ and the GOSPEL, (G.ods O.mnipotent S.alvation P.roclaiming E.ternal L.ove) before our exit of this world and enter into the loving embrace of our dear LORD Jesus!

The news is pretty crazy nowadays.
But while being aware of the snares and trials in our world, we should also be focusing on our walks and on Him. God takes care of the sparrows and he will take care of us. Worrying about it won't make a difference.

I concur; worry is actually sin; its a form of unbelief, and something that shouldn't pervade a Christian's mind.
Scripture speaks clearly to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God, and the peace of God shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

That said, it also behooves the saints to "understand the times" and as wise stewards prepare for them, spiritually and every other way applicable.

Nevertheless, I am a human being, frail and prone to failure, and I must admit that these things are at times worrisome to me. No one wants to entertain such ideas as the erosion of our freedoms, increased socialistic powers that are bound to have an effect on the church, even potential persecution of the saints for their stand on the Word of God.

At such times I turn to passages like Psalm 2 and 9.
Which leads me to a thought I had once after reading those two Psalms in succession: "There is no such thing as eternal injustice."

Hey Brink of Eternity,

Thanks for your comment!

I agree with you completely. It is our walk with God that should have our primary attention.

God does take care of the sparrows and us as well. He is our loving heavenly Father.

However, even Jesus warned His disciples in the book of Matthew to take heed, lest some man deceive you.

The Bible is also clear that many will fall away in the last days, even the elect.

While some of these articles touch on political matters, these matters will indeed have many adverse consequences in our lives, especially in our freedom to worship God openly and publicly.

It is my conviction to be aware of the events happening around us and to make them public knowledge. First to bring to light the evil schemes of Satan and then to search out the truth of God's Word.

I believe it to be imperative to warn everyone alike of the coming tribulations that we all will face.

Thank you for pointing out that we as Christians are not to be worrying about these matters. You're absolutely right! We are to pray. Pray for our leaders, our nation, the decisions being made for our country, our hearts, our families, our freinds and neighbors, salvation for the lost ...

Do You really think there will be revival in America? I agree that we his people need to pray and confess and turn from our sins, but do you really think this nation will repent? I do not believe they will. However we as true believers will pray for our leaders no matter what. God has his plan and we will not change his mind in bringing in all of his events. We will have a one world order and a one world church and all the other things that the Lord says will happen. We should be praying even so Lord Jesus come quickly.
